My name is Katie. 25 years old. Ontario, Canada.
I've had my share of ups-and-downs in life. Its all a part of growing up

Today, one of my new favourite bands announced they won’t be making music together anymore. And it sucks.
I first heard of Go Radio when they were on tour with Yellowcard in 2011. I was going through a rough break-up at the time and I remember standing in the crowd with tears as I listened to “goodnight moon” for the very first time. I went home that night and bought every album they had released up to that point on iTunes. And when “Close The Distance” trust, I pre-ordered that bad boy instantly.

Today was a sad day to start with and this news just doesn’t help. I may go listen to every GR song ever released and reminisce. I wish I had gone to one last show in the two years I knew of them.

PS Dear Yellowcard, please don’t be next

That’s how you know you love someone, I guess, when you can’t experience anything without wishing the other person were there to see it, too.

I love how a band/album can represent period in your life and that every time when you listen to it you get a weird familiar feeling, as if you’re going back in time to that part of your life.
